A number of anti-Israel accounts have posted this photo of “Tiberias Lake, Palestine”, in yet another attempt to suggest pre-1948, there was somehow a Palestinian State:

The first thing I noticed about this photo is how the people in it do not look particularly Arab (although granted it is difficult to tell with some of the people in the background).
The image source reveals it is a photo of the Lido in Tiberias:
Sure enough, the Lido was a British establishment, were locals were not welcome – except for one Jewish man and his son:
After World War I, when the British took control of the Land of Israel, life became slightly more relaxed. In the 1920s, the Lido Club, a club for British officers, was established on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The locals weren’t welcome in this exclusive club, but Mitzpe’s representative to the British authorities, Tzvi Gross, received special permission to come. He sometimes even brought his young son Eitan.
He would later purchase the property:
When the British left in 1948, the Lido Club was forgotten. Soon all that remained of it was a ruin. However, Esther, who enjoyed fishing, loved the site of the Lido and Eitan realized the site’s commercial possibilities. He bought the property and opened an organized beach for swimming complete with a kiosk and other amenities. He soon also bought a boat that would set sail from the beach and offer dance cruises. The positive response led him to buy another boat; today the Lido Beach has a fleet of 12 boats that host cruises, parties, and special events for thousands of visitors from around the world every year.
In other words, all this photo shows is how the British controlled the area of Palestine before 1948 – which absolutely no-one denies. As well as how Jews legally purchased property that palestinian Arabs claim as their own.
