Well, no.
Leaving aside the fact it is not your land, the fact you are referring to them as Jaffa oranges – by their Hebrew name and not by their Arabic name Shamouti – is an own goal.
What’s more, thanks for the opportunity to teach some history. According to the Hope Simpson Report (1930) (“Palestine: Report on Immigration, Land Settlement and Development”):
Perhaps they should understand Jaffa oranges as a symbol of what can be achieved if they accept us and agree to cooperate with us.
