Antisemitic Travel Blogger Rezaul Bahar Digs Himself a Deeper Hole

Last week, I exposed Rezaul Bahar, an antisemitic travel blogger and US Military and Coast Guard Academy employee. Bahar had referred to Israeli as “hyenas”, while making it clear that he was actually speaking about Jews.

Bahar took exception to my post, suggesting it was me who needed to have a better understanding of the person I had written about – which is funny coming from a guy who obviously knows very little about Jews or Israelis. He then topped it off with an antisemitic trope:

Of course, I wasn’t going to have any of this:

What is it about antisemites and the “some of my best friends are Jewish” excuse? It is almost a given they will respond with this.

As you can see, Bahar was not in an apologetic mood. But he did end up deleting the post, no doubt because his employer either demanded it or he realizes the sh*t is about to hit the fan.

Meanwhile, I noticed an earlier post of Bahar’s, in which he acknowledges the complex history of “Israel-Palestine” and admits life here is “significantly better than many other parts of the world” (presumably this includes for palestinian Arabs):

Four days later and he was comparing us to hyenas and justified Jewish suffering.
