Following from my previous post after watching the first episode of Mo, the Netflix show about a palestinian Arab living in Houston, I just watched episode 2 and my feelings are the same: I am enjoying the show, despite some instances of anti-Israel propaganda. I guess this is because the characters are likeable, and the show is not consumed with bashing Israel. And when there is propaganda, it is mostly presented humorously.
Case in point:
What is ironic is that in the show, Mo has been selling fake ‘brand’ items. And the branding issue he speaks of in this clip arises from their narrative being essentially fake.
