Last week, I wrote about “model” Carmen Ortega Baljian, who posted some antisemitic rants on Instagram to her millions of followers.
It seems she is not happy about the exposure from me and others, and has posted the following statement (hat tip: Stop Antisemitism):

This is textbook from those caught disseminating antisemitic things – they tend to deny it rather than own their words. Perhaps Ortega is worried she may lose some deals over this.
Either way, to be clear, truth is a defense to any action of libel. So if she does try to sue, good luck to her. It is not as if this is my first time faced with a legal threat (I have yet to back down or be successfully sued. Because, truth).
Here is a reminder as to what she posted:

She could hardly be clearer, and there is no context on the planet where this is not antisemitic.
It turns out Ortega has been at it for a while now; years ago, she was perpetuating Jewish stereotypes – although I am sure she will defend these tweets as “just jokes”:

As for her claim to having family that is Jewish, it has “some of my best friends are Jewish” vibes. But believe it or not, this part just might have some truth to it:

How she could then go on to post these vile things is beyond me. Perhaps she tried gefilte fish and really hated it?
I am sure it is not because she has read the Talmud.
