Joseph Cohen of the Israeli Advocacy Movement recently confronted Nick Cotton, a rather shaggy-looking antisemite who has trolled Joseph in the past. Joseph set a trap for Cotton in order to expose his antisemitism, but then classily offered him a “lifeline” to repudiate his antisemitic ways, believing – to paraphrase Luke Skywalker – there is good in him.
I commend Joseph for his offer at the end of the video based on an assessment of Cotton’s motivations. Unfortunately, however, I am not predicting a heartwarming ending any time soon, judging by Cotton’s response on his Telegram channel:
No, Nick. The main cause of antisemitism is the behavior of hatemongers like yourself.
It is a shame you seem to have chosen unemployable and undateable over being a productive member of the human race.
