Africa for Palestine have evidently been busy with their propaganda and lies.
Following on from their “own goal”, they have tweeted this fake quote of former Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai:
I debunked it back in 2021. As I noted back then:
The first clue that he didn’t is Eli Yishai himself – his family comes from Tunisia. He ain’t no ‘White’ man! (not that any Jews are ‘White’, but I’ll leave that aside for now). Come to think of it, maybe that is why the person behind the above meme created it in black and white.
The more I think about it, the more obvious it is to me that this is the reason the meme is in black and white. How could it work with a color photo of him?
Whoever created the meme seems to have ‘lightened’ his face. Compare and contrast to the following image of antisemite Linda Sarsour, which is also in black and white, but for the exact opposite reason:
This is from a Facebook post she shared in 2021, promoting a celebration of actor/singer Harry Belafonte’s birthday, of which she was a part.
As I noted at the time, they made her look darker!
I believe this is a deliberate attempt to make her look more like a “person of color”, especially since most of the others on the “guest list” for the Belafonte event are actually African American.
You may recall that Sarsour has rebranded herself from “regular White girl from NYC” to “woman of color.”
This is just one of numerous propaganda techniques (besides fabricating quotes) these haters engage in.
