Katie Halper, the rabid Israel-hater who claims she was fired from The Hill for calling Israel an “apartheid state”, is also the person behind the petition calling on “those who have canceled Waters’ concerts to reverse their decisions.” Because rabid Israel-haters need to stick together.
Halper recently interviewed Waters on her podcast, and it was the usual Waters fare: denying he is antisemitic while misrepresenting why people think he is antisemitic (not to mention the obligatory glass of alcohol).
I needn’t focus on any of this, because been-there-done-that. Instead, I want to draw attention to a part of the podcast in which Halper began speaking about some of the “big names” to have signed the petition.
Although I must say I am surprised Waters would want to be associated with someone descended from ‘settler-colonists’!
