We already knew rockstar Robbie Williams loved performing in Israel, in front of Israelis, as well as his special affinity towards the Jewish people (at least partly because his wife and kids are Jewish).
But in case it wasn’t already super clear just how much, he reminded us at his concert in Tel Aviv last night.
Besides the obvious, this also makes it much clearer that when he spoke of his fear of being “used as part of a narrative for nefarious purposes”, he was not referring to people of “both sides”, but rather exclusively to the Israel-haters and BDS-holes (which some people did not seem to understand).
Robbie’s affection towards us want not confined to that speech. During the concert, his affection for the Israeli audience was obvious, with this being one of the most touching moments:
He even managed to make an IDF joke when “serenading” one of the women in the audience:
Robbie Williams is one hell of a performer, but his love for us is no act.
