A few weeks ago, Robert F Kennedy Jr, the son of Robert F Kennedy and a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2024 presidential election, tweeted in praise of Roger Waters. And Waters fully enjoyed it:
Robert F Kennedy Jr subsequently deleted his tweet, explaining in further tweets that he was referring to Waters’ dissent on COVID and the war in Ukraine, but did not share his other views. Robert F Kennedy Jr also stated that he supports Israel’s right to exist. But for some reason he deleted these tweets as well, perhaps muddying the waters (no pun intended) as to his real views on Israel.
Now Robert F Kennedy Jr has appeared on Glenn Greenwald’s show System Update, and made it very clear how he supports Israel and thinks Roger Waters has crossed the line into antisemitism.
I do not agree with many of Robert F Kennedy Jr’s positions, but the mere fact he expressed things that will make Roger Waters sick to his stomach is reason enough for me to highlight this.
