Gazans Rage Over UNRWA’s Code of Conduct Giving Rights To LGBTQ People
Last week, UNRWA officials in Gaza required local employees of UN facilities to sign a code of conduct, which included LGBTQ rights:
“UNRWA considers gender equality in accordance with the views of the United Nations and describes gender equality to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender colleagues (UNRWA staff) and beneficiaries (service recipients – the refugee population).
“UNRWA employees must treat all people equally and with respect in accordance with UN policy.”
As you can imagine, this went down about as well as a lead (incendiary) balloon:

Former UNRWA Spokeshit Chris Gunness – a member of the LGBTQ community – has commented on this latest development:
Just kidding.
He has had absolutely nothing to say about it (but still manages to bash Israel whenever he can).
Neither have all those gay groups “for Palestine,” who seem ok with having their lifestyle labelled “deviant notions that are alien to the culture of Palestinian society.”
