Aussie Israel-Hater Laura Allam On Kidnapping, Robbery and Assault Charges

About three weeks ago, Andrew Bolt slammed the Australian Greens (already beset by antisemitism and terror support) after their senators stood beside terror supporter Laura Allam, at a protest in Canberra.

Well, Allam is back in the news after being accused of – wait for it – orchestrating the kidnapping and torture of a man because he worked for a Jewish employer.

A prominent advocate for victims in the Middle East has been accused of orchestrating the kidnapping and torture of a man because he worked for a Jewish employer.

Laura Allam – a 28-year-old mother who claims to do humanitarian work and has tens of thousands of followers on social media – has been charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, false imprisonment, unlawful assault and assault by kicking.

But an extraordinary suppression order relating to her case prevents the Herald Sun from running Ms Allam’s image, referencing some ethnic groups or providing certain detail about her advocacy activities.

The alleged attack on the 31-year-old man occurred in a residential area in St Albans on Friday, February 16.

A Victoria Police spokesperson last night said in a statement: “It’s alleged a man was pulled from a car near the intersection of Gladstone and Cleveland streets about 9.30pm.

“He was then allegedly placed in another car and assaulted and robbed before being released in Braybrook.”

Sources said the man needed extensive treatment in hospital for injuries sustained in the “horrific kidnapping and torture”.

They added that Ms Allam, who lives in Fraser Rise in Melbourne’s northwest, had orchestrated the vicious assault.

The police spokesperson confirmed that Brimbank Divisional Response Unit detectives had charged two people in relation to the alleged kidnapping.

Ms Allam’s alleged accomplice, a 37-year-old Brunswick man, was charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed robbery, threats to kill, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, unlawful assault and assault with weapon.

They were both bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 31.

Ms Allam is a prominent member of the Lebanese community.

Late last year it was reported that Ms Allam, who has claimed to help people from the Middle East, had posted extremist comments on social media including one about plans to “avenge the martyrs in Jenin and Gaza”.

“It is a jihad of martyrdom or victory,” Ms Allam wrote on her Instagram post.

In case you are wondering why the “P” word is not even mentioned anywhere in this report, nor the name of her non-profit, or even her photo, it is because of the same suppression order mentioned, which states, among other things:

NO IMAGE TO BE PUBLISHED OF THE ACCUSED OR HER [redacted] AND NO REFERENCE TO HER [redacted] NO REFERENCE TO THE [redacted] COMMUNITY OR PROTESTS NO REFERENCE TO [redacted] ORGANISATION

Because I am a good sport and I do not want to break the law (even though this suppression order seems oppressive to say the least), I have not used her image here either – even though it is easily accessible to anyone with Google.

But I can reveal the contents of her dynamite final Instagram post (from her now deleted account):

This seems to be an admission as to her involvement, yet amazingly no apology for her actions. In fact, she speaks as if the incident somehow passively “occurred” – as opposed to her actively doing something terrible. And she seems angry that her fellow community members – including leaders (assuming at least one I have featured on here on many occasions) – let her down by not showing support.

But the part that really stands out – besides her pathetic victim mentality and attempts to paint herself as some kind of heroine deserving of support and protection – is her admission that if she “decides to speak up on what has occurred, “it will have the most detrimental effect on [her] community” and “every single effort [they] have put in to [their] ‘movement.'” As well as, the fact “the issue is not one that affects Laura only, but will affect a part of a particular community.” This sounds to me like others may be implicated in the crime and/or a cover-up.

This is, of course, speculation, but I have the popcorn ready just in case.
