I was not so familiar with Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, before watching this recording of his speech at Orthodox Beth Israel Beth Aaron Congregation in Quebec on March 26th. But after watching it, I can say we would be hard-pressed to find a politician more supportive of the Jewish people and the Jewish state anywhere, let alone in Canada.
May he merit becoming Prime Minister of Canada in the next elections.
May we merit that too.
