Last week, the United Nations further disgraced themselves when they – through the United Nations Association of Australia – put on the International Day of Peace Lecture. Their featured speakers were antisemite-enabling “as-a-Jew” Louise Adler and antisemitic terror supporter Nasser Mashni, while the cherry on top was it being hosted at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane.
You can view the entire thing here if you are a glutton for punishment. But as usual, I have gone through it to bring you the “highlights” – well, at least of Nasser Mashni’s speech (I have yet to to subject myself to Adler’s).
As expected Mashni’s speech was full of lies. Like when he supposedly quoted Herzl to “prove” we always saw ourselves as mere colonialists – conveniently leaving out other parts of the quote that show otherwise:
Or when he claimed palestinians don’t deny Jewish connection or historical links to the land:
Or when he painted the Jews who returned to Zion as being solely “European” while claiming antisemitism is a European disease, again hiding the truth:
Not to mention outright antisemitism:
And terror support; it is no wonder he could not condemn Hamas when asked repeatedly on Australian television in the early days of the war:
Mashni is an absolutely disgrace, as is the United Nations Association of Australia, St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane, as well as hosts UNAAQ, Griffith University, University of Qld and Just Peace Qld Inc.
