Antisemitic rapper Macklemore has proven he indeed lives up to his nickname Shmeckelless, trying to walk back his “F*ck America” comment following the backlash he received.
I call BS. He recently got dropped from the Neon City Festival, and probably fears he will lose out on more gigs and money due to opening his piehole.
Note also how his statement mocks the idea of us being able to defend ourselves against the Hamas attempts to genocide us out of existence, while accusing us of doing the same thing against the palestinian Arabs. He sees himself as being one of the good guys, when he is actually emboldening evil.
Plus I just don’t believe him when he claims he acted out of anger. He knew what he was doing, he just didn’t expect to suffer repercussions for it.
And I can’t blame him for thinking that, especially considering he is still performing and popular after this stunt:
