Gordon Dimmack, Who Claims Fiona Ryan Doesn’t Spread Antisemitism, Does So Himself

A few days ago, I posted how an Israel-hater called Gordon Dimwit Dimmack claimed Fiona Ryan had been arrested, released and banned from social media until at least February, over her ‘Jesus was Palestinian’ video, which made the historically inaccurate and antisemitic claim that Jesus was palestinian.

Dimmack has since elaborated on her arrest, blaming me for it (without mentioning me by name):

I am fine with him attributing it to me, because I did tweet “Would be a shame had I been even partly responsible for this. </sarcasm>.” And while I did not myself contact Wiltshire police, my post was almost certainly responsible for others doing so.

But I do have to take exception with Dimmack claiming I wrote Fiona Ryan “asking people to donate to Palestinian charities and to think of those more unfortunate than us this Christmas” was antisemitic (I have no problem with that if the charities have been vetted and the money is proven to be going directly to civilians and not Hamas’ coffers). I very clearly argued that rewriting history to claim erroneously that Jesus was palestinian – a term that came into existence well after his death – was antisemitic, especially considering this argument’s antisemitic history. As I wrote:

While Jesus is represented as a Palestinian Arab, the Jewish people of today are apparently not Jews at all. As Mitri Raheb, a Lutheran pastor in Bethlehem, said in 2010: “I’m sure if we were to do a DNA test between David, who was a Bethlehemite, and Jesus, born in Bethlehem, and Mitri, born just across the street from where Jesus was born, I’m sure the DNA will show that there is a trace. While, if you put King David, Jesus, and Netanyahu [together], you will get nothing, because Netanyahu comes from an East European tribe [the Khazars] who converted to Judaism in the Middle Ages.”

Funny thing, because, lo and behold, an examination of Dimmack’s own posts shows he promotes the very same antisemitic view represented above: that we are merely ‘European Khazars’ and not real Jews :

Not that this is the only antisemitism disseminated by Dimmack; he likes to amplify the antisemitic trope of a powerful group of people running countries and silencing people:

He also engages in Hamas atrocity denialism:

and characterizes terrorists as “resistance”:

Not that Dimmack seems worried he will face the same consequences as his heroine Fiona Ryan. In fact, he seems to be daring the police to act against him:

One thing I cannot accuse Dimmack of is being smart.
