A new setback for Myliesha Lee Sjorberg aka Myliesha Ryder, the owner of Luna Moss flower store in St Kilda, Melbourne.
You may recall she not only posted anti-Israel propaganda that crossed over into antisemitism territory, but also terrorism support.
However it was neither of these things that just landed her in court. She was there after doxxing a proud Jewish activist who was removing anti-Israel and antisemitic stickers from a council pole and billboard at the rear of the business.
A Melbourne florist has landed in court after calling a Jewish woman a Nazi and allegedly doxxing her following a confrontation over anti-Israel stickers outside her shop.
Luna Moss Flowers owner and activist Luna Ryder Sjorberg filmed Sharon – who asked Sky News not to publish her surname for security reasons –while she was removing anti-Israel stickers from a council pole and billboard at the rear of the business in St Kilda, in inner Melbourne, on October 25.
The stickers included four saying “F*k Isrl”, one reading “Zionism is Nazism” and two of the Israel flag being crossed out.
Ms Sjorberg later posted screenshots from the video onto her business’ Instagram page, which has more than 8000 followers, calling Sharon and the friend with her “Zio Nazi’s (sic)” , claiming she was damaging her shop and “wants to be featured on all pro Palestine media.”
The posts were picked up by other pro-Palestine accounts, which repeated the claims and asked followers to find out more information about the pair.
A week later, Ms Sjorberg posted more screenshots of Sharon and her husband, asking the “internet (to) do your thing”, accusing her of damaging her property and “stalk(ing) our shop and residential area” and being a “known aggressor of the peace at many of the Peace for Palestine rallies”.
She later posted Sharon and her husband’s full names on Instagram.
Sharon was granted an interim personal safety intervention order by the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday, preventing Ms Sjorberg from stalking, harassing or posting online about her, or coming within 200 metres.
“The comments themselves were beyond insulting and quite threatening in nature, so yes, I am concerned for my personal safety,” Sharon told Sky News.
“The (interim order) is to stop a certain behaviour from occurring and this behaviour is the online doxxing and harassing of me, the making of false allegations against me that are obviously inciting her up to 18,000 followers when you take the three (pro-Palestinian) accounts (resharing the material) into the numbers.
“I do have an unusual surname, there aren’t very many of us in Melbourne and once she plastered my surname out there, I know it’s not going to be very hard for them to find my address.”
—
The descendant of Holocaust survivors, Sharon says she was horrified when she saw what had been written on the screenshots posted by Ms Sjorberg.
“Calling us Zio-Nazis and using the horrors that our family and our community have endured against us is just particularly perverse,” she said.
She denied stalking the shop or its owner, saying she regularly walks in the area with friends who are local residents, and says the only time she has been at a pro-Palestine rally is when she inadvertently tried to bypass one to get to the council meeting at Melbourne Town Hall on February 20, before her husband was allegedly pushed to the ground.
Besides having the interim personal safety intervention order granted against her by the Court, Sjorberg has dug herself a bigger hole with her behavior, doubling down on antisemitic rhetoric:
When our cameraman arrived to get shots of the florist shop, Ms Sjorberg accused the network of filming the business because Sky News is “Zionist”.
—
In a phone call to Sky News, she said she stood by calling Zionists “Nazis”.
“It’s a common trait with Zionists – they’re always a victim,” Ms Sjorberg said.
showing her ignorance:
“I’m South African. I know what genocide is.”
(I am guessing she meant apartheid, but she probably doesn’t know the difference between the two)
and generally showing what a despicable human she is:
The 61-year-old claimed she was planning to apply for her own personal safety intervention order against Sharon.
“Tough luck to her because she doesn’t know what she’s up against,” Ms Sjorberg said.
“I couldn’t give two s***s if she was on fire.”
Meanwhile, she is blaming Israellycool for doxxing her:
Ms Sjorberg also claims to have been “doxxed”, after an article was posted on the blog Israellycool three days after the incident involving Sharon.
True, I did reveal her as the owner of the store, but unlike what she did to Sharon, this information was easily and publicly available. Her name was not obtained illegally, and unlike her, I did not ask the “internet (to) do your thing” – rather I merely encouraged Jews and allies to not give her business, which is our right.
Meanwhile, she hasn’t let this latest setback get in the way of her usual hate mongering:
She should take her own advice:
