Remember how antisemitic nothingburger Hash Tayeh fanned the flames of hatred against Jews when he implied it was “Zionists” behind the firebombing his Caufield Burgertory store, despite police saying it was not a hate crime? His insinuations led to a rabid mob of his supporters descending on the Jewish suburb of Caulfield in a park right outside a synagogue.
Then when the two accused perpetrators were arrested and it was clear they were not “Zionists” at all, Tayeh didn’t apologize, but rather justified why he believed them to be so. He subsequently claimed he “never said it was Zionists or Jews” behind the firebombing, despite all the receipts otherwise.
Now he is back to implying it was “Zionists”, posting the below on social media:
Tayeh seems to again be implying the store firebombing was the work of Jews, and his gotcha! footage is that of some calmly putting up and distributing posters of hostages held in Gaza.
Let’s be clear: if Tayeh was truly about “creating a space where Palestinians, Jews, and people from all walks of life worked together with respect and harmony”, he wouldn’t object to posters being out up of innocent Jews being held by terrorist organization Hamas in Gaza. He certainly wouldn’t imply those who did so may have firebombed his restaurant.
And he wouldn’t be on the side of those who rip down hostage posters and act in other vile and hateful ways.
But we know Tayeh is not about “respect and harmony.” In fact, he seems to support those who abducted our hostages:
and while he might claim to hire Jewish youth in his store, he’s not a huge fan of Jews:
Tayeh is truly a gaslighter for the ages.
If Hash believes opposing terrorism and wanting our hostages back equates to “anti palestinian racism,” I’d suggest he has a vey low opinion of palestinian Arabs.
