Australian Foreign Minister is certainly no friend of Israel, even reportedly being chastised by the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister. In a particularly shameful example of this, it was recently revealed she met with officials from Iran and the Palestinian Authority at the UN last September, but not Israeli officials.
So it has been no surprise to see her react to Israel’s resumption of strikes on Gaza – after Hamas refused to release the remaining hostages – as anything but supportive of Israel’s actions:

One might assume someone claiming to support the palestinian Arabs would be pleased with this statement. It calls for an end to the Israeli strikes and protection for Gazan civilians after all.
But one assuming such a thing would have forgotten a critical thing: this is not about supporting palestinian Arabs. It is about destroying Israel.
Former ABC journalist Jennine Khalik – who once famously threatened to sue me for suggesting she wants Israel destroyed (before I threatened to countersue her) – has again shown this with her reaction to Wong’s statement:

Woa Nelly!
It seems Khalik sees the statement as “vile” and “dehumanising” because it calls Hamas a “terrorist group” and demands they release the hostages, two things Khalik hates.
But here’s the thing: Khalik is not a bug, she is a feature of the so-called “pro-palestine” movement.
