With the 2025 Australian federal elections to be held on Saturday 3 May 2025, the anti-Israel crowd – led by Nasser Mashni and his APAN organization – are trying to influence the results by making Australia’s policy towards Israel and “Palestine” the only issue to consider.
The link takes you to the website Vote With Palestine with an automatic email generator that enables haters to bombard their local candidates with the following email:
Subject: Commit to justice for Palestine
I live in your electorate, and I pledge to Vote with Palestine in the upcoming federal election.
Where do you stand?
I will vote for a party or candidate that commits to:
- End Australia’s complicity – Stop military ties, trade and political support for Israel’s genocide, occupation and apartheid.
- Hold Israel accountable – Push for sanctions and real consequences for violations of international law.
- Defend freedom of political expression – Oppose the crackdown on free speech, advocacy and solidarity with Palestine.
- Stand for justice – Support Palestinian self-determination and demand meaningful political change.
Australia has consistently failed to take action while Israel continues its genocide in Gaza, illegal occupation of Palestinian land, and systematic oppression of Palestinian rights. Worse, our government has enabled these crimes through military exports, diplomatic backing, and trade agreements.
Our next parliament must take a stand for justice, accountability, and human rights. This election is an opportunity to change course.

The sheer chutzpah of claiming you are against the bullies – while showing you are the ultimate bully. But then again, Mashni and others advancing the same morally bankrupt cause sure love to gaslight. They support the Hamas terrorists while claiming Israel are the terrorists, after all.
Note how there is nothing in the email text about voting for the party that acts in the best interests of Australia.
Not that Mashni and his gang ever had Australia’s best interests at heart. He does not even recognize Australia’s validity, referring it to a (settler) colony, which he clearly holds in contempt:
In other words, Mashni hopes for the dismantling of Australia – the place that has afforded him all the freedoms (and enabled him to amass great wealth), just like he hopes for the dismantling of Israel.
And he is banking on people dumb and evil enough to help him achieve both.
So while I usually try to stay out of domestic politics, I cannot sit idly by here while Mashni works against the two countries in the world I love most.
This is why I implore my fellow Aussies to vote for Peter Dutton’s Liberal Party.
