Aussie Israel-Haters Eating Themselves Alive

All is not quiet on the Western Eastern front.

We have seen splits developing within the Israel-hating movement in Australia – more specifically Melbourne – for a while now.

Like when Laura Allam – after being charged with orchestrating the kidnapping and torture of a man – published a post in which she accused some of her allies of letting her down by not showing support.

And when Free Palestine Melbourne and a splinter group Free Palestine Coalition Naarm went at it.

And when “The Liberation Crew” and “The Sit-Intifada” also went at it.

And when many female Israel-haters accused one of their own – Rohan Irvine – of abuse.

And when some even accused Nasser Mashni of sexual abuse.

But today we saw a further implosion.

Jewish activist Menachem Vorcheimer had taken Free Palestine Melbourne and antisemitic terror supporter Tasnim Sammak (as well as being the wife of fellow antisemitic terror supporter Mohammad Sharab) to the Human Rights Tribunal, for inciting the 10 Nov 2023 riot outside a synagogue in the Jewish suburb of Caulfield. The hearing ended in a settlement, and as part of it, each party made made statements regarding the actions (or inaction) of Victoria Police that night which arguably led to the riots.

Menchem published the following statement:

“I welcome resolution of legal proceedings involving Tasnim Sammak and Free Palestine Melbourne emanating from the rally that followed the firebombing of Burgetory.

I brought the proceedings, because we are first and foremost Australians, and that whilst we might have differences of opinions, freedom of speech is not absolute, rather subject to certain reasonable limitations, including not to seriously vilify another person based on their racial and/or lawful religious beliefs or activities.

I welcome Tasnim Sammak and Free Palestine Melbourne’s accepting that Victoria Police stated at the time, that the firebombing was not racially, politically or religiously motivated. As the matter is before the courts it would be inappropriate to comment further. I also welcome the Respondents acknowledgment that targeting Jews, Jewish institutions or any other racial, religious or cultural group over a foreign conflict has no place in Australia.

Their public statements are a vital step toward fostering respectful dialogue and maintaining social cohesion. Australia is a diverse and inclusive society, and we must collectively uphold the principles of mutual respect and peaceful expression. All Australians, regardless of their race or religion have the right to security in their identity.”

For their part, Free Palestine Melbourne posted the following statement on Instagram:

Free Palestinian Melbourne’s statement has triggered meltdown mode among many Israel-haters, including Sammak’s hubby Mo Sharab:

Mr Nothingburger Hash Tayeh:

and Mr Me-too’er himself, Rohan Irvine:

Looking forward to seeing way more implosions among these haters.

Oh wait, incoming…
