Beyond The Media Coverage: About The Latest ‘Aid Ship’ To Gaza

In case you didn’t already read about it, climate activist Greta Thunberg set sail for Gaza earlier this week on a ship aimed at “breaking Israel’s siege” or something.

Here’s some things you need to know about it, which you won’t see elsewhere, especially not in the mainstream media.

This is soley performative and morally reprehensible

These so-called activists will achieve one thing, and one thing only: further demonizing Israel while propping up Hamas. The reasons they are supposedly sailing to Gaza – to bring attention to a “live-streamed genocide” – is based on an absolute libel. There is no genocide, and all reports of one are based on information from Hamas and their enablers around the world. As for bringing aid, any supposed aid they have on their ship won’t make a difference. This is solely performative.

Ironically, the only “live-streamed genocide” was the one started on October 7 by Hamas, which besides leading to the rapes and murders of innocent Israelis and foreigners, also led to Hamas taking hostages.

Telling how this bunch of “human rights activists” have not mentioned as a goal of their mission to demand Hamas release these hostages.

Reporting of this aid ship shows mainstream media’s disregard for accuracy and truth

The mainstream media are reporting that Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham is one of those on board.

For instance, CNN:

Among those joining the crew of the Madleen are “Game of Thrones” actor Liam Cunningham and Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who is of Palestinian descent.

The Independent:

Greta Thunberg and 11 other activists, including actor Liam Cunningham, set sail for Gaza on Sunday to break “Israel’s siege” and deliver aid.

and CBS News:

“Game of Thrones” actor Liam Cunningham and Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who is of Palestinian descent, are also among the crew.

And there’s plenty more reporting the same thing.

Yet it is simply not true, something I ascertained very easily and quickly.

Yet the media are reporting something completely untrue. Sure, their error is less consequential than their negligent reporting of the supposed IDF “deadly attacks” on civilians around aid distribution sites. But it is indictive of the mainstream media these days.

At least one of their support crew would not fare well under Hamas

One of those NOT on the ship, but part of the support crew, is Tania Safi, who you can see here:

Yes, she’s openly LGBTQ.

And while she was on The Conscience, which never made it to Gaza, it is probably just as well she is not on the Madleen – given Hamas’ treatment of LGBTQ people.

Down to the last few days. Every dollar counts.
