The other day, I noticed this post from the detestable Linda Sarsour come across my Facebook feed:
Given what I know about her, I already knew her candidate Zohran Mamdani was bad news. But it didn’t take me long to uncover this, thanks to a new report by Canary Mission titled Zohran Mamdani: A Danger to NYC.
The report goes into great detail and really presents Mamdani as a huge danger not just to Jews but all New Yorkers. This is typified by his recent, calculated moves to position himself as more “moderate”, for instance by making a last-minute, carefully crafted concession that Israel has a right to exist, but not as a Jewish state – making him what Canary Mission calls an “electable extremist.”
It is imperative that those who can vote get out and vote for his opponent Andrew Cuomo, who is currently narrowly leading in the polls.
But with the likes of Sarsour encouraging the haters to get out and vote for Mamdani, we cannot be complacent.
As Canary Mission warns:
A vote for Mamdani is a vote for a pro-Hamas, anti-American disruptive agenda for NYC, including the antisemitic violence that historically has accompanied it. It is a vote for the failed policies of decarceration and defunding the police, policies that have been proven to increase crime in cities across America, particularly against Jews and other minority communities.
