I believe the reason (or at least one of them) is this post of his following the recent violent attack in Melbourne against Israeli-owned restaurant Miznon, as well as the arson attack against the synagogue:
It is telling his call to not use violence (at least this time) has been met with such rage from his allies. Speaks volumes about them.
These people are the scum of the scum. And the fact Hash Tayeh almost looks reasonable next to them is a frightening concern.
