Today is Tisha Be’Av, one of the most solemn days in the Jewish calendar, commemorating a series of disasters in Jewish history, including:
- The destruction of the First Temple by the Babylonians in 586 BCE
- The destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 CE
- The expulsion of Jews from England (1290) and Spain (1492)
- The start of World War I
- The deportation from the Warsaw Ghetto to Treblinka began on Tisha B’Av in 1942
I find it absolutely no coincidence that this was the exact day that the Israel-haters and antisemites in Australia ended up holding a protest across the Sydney Harbour Bridge (yes, the same location they revealed their genocidal ambitions right after October 7), after it was authorised by the Supreme Court yesterday, in what organisers called a “historic” decision.
Don’t get me wrong, they probably had no idea about the significance of the day. They either deny Jewish history and/or are ignorant about it. But this protest was evil and yet another tragedy to befall not just Jews but all who value what is right and good – just like other actions that have occurred on this saddest of days.
While the protest was called March for Humanity, it really was the exact opposite. Right after Hamas released those images of emaciated and pale hostage Evyatar David digging his own grave, the protesters were demonstrating their support for the terrorists and terrorism:

Chants celebrating terrorism and calling for the murder of Jews.

Jewish people and fellow Australians, take careful note of who has chosen to align themselves with those who want to kill us. pic.twitter.com/ode3wLLQCu

while calling for the death of those defending Israelis:

If you know anyone who attended today's anti-Jewish rally in Sydney, you should keep a close eye on them. pic.twitter.com/NsFq2RqPl8
Naturally, there was also some good old fashioned antisemitism on display:

and antisemites like Syrian Girl Maram Susli, wrapped in her Assad flag, showing what an evil clown she is:
Syrian Girl — who denied the October 7 rapes by saying Israelis are “too ugly to rape” — just begged the anti-Israel livestreamer (yep, the one so broken he watermarks my name) to slap a beauty filter on her.

You honestly can’t make this shit up. pic.twitter.com/aawwQMFBME
And let’s not forget the Chickens for KFC:

As I wrote earlier, this is not just evil opposition to Jewish self-determination in our ancestral homeland but evil opposition to Australia and the West.

They truly believe they own Australia!
Whose bridge?

OUR BRIDGE!!!

And while they did seem to own Sydney Harbor Bridge for a while, I can only hope that the average Australian realizes the evil they have allowed to fester for too long in their midst. An evil hellbent on destroying all that is good and right.
So on the very day Jews mourn the destruction of our holiest sites, our forced expulsions, and the beginning of mass extermination – antisemites marched, celebrated terror, and desecrated another space once thought sacred: the heart of Sydney.
They called it a “March for Humanity.” But make no mistake — this was a march against humanity. Against truth. Against decency. Against the very values that built Australia.
If Tisha B’Av teaches us anything, it’s that tragedies don’t come from nowhere – they rise when evil is ignored, excused, or empowered. And today’s rain? Maybe that was Heaven weeping… not just for the Jews, but for Australia.
