Jewish Australian Rules Football (AFL) player Harry Sheezel has equalled the all-time AFL disposal record, with 54 disposals in today’s game against the Richmond Tigers.

I guess I should point out for the AFL-challenged that a disposal is the act of legally getting rid of the ball, either by kicking it or handballing it (punching the ball from one hand with the other fist).
In other words, to equal the all-time record is a big deal. Almost as big as having a Jewish player in the AFL to begin with (there have been only about 11 Jewish players in the 100+ years of the sport).
What’s more, Harry Sheezel is a proud Jew who has been the target of online antisemitic abuse.
And he’s modest to boot (pun intended).
"It was just one of those days where it clicked."

With all the doom and gloom Jews around the world are feeling, it is important to celebrate the good news and successes.
Well done Harry!
