Meet Katrina Ann Smith:

The owner of Juniper Salon in Bentleigh, Melbourne, she writes that she “has a passion for helping curly girls (and boys) control their wayward curls.”
Except if they are Israeli – then she refuses to do their hair and kicks them out of her salon.
A woke Melbourne hairdresser heard a foreign accent and asked, “where are you from?” When the client answered “Israel,” she called him a “genocidal baby killer” and kicked him out.

So I booked an appointment… and confronted her on camera.

Besides being yet another example of just how nasty and full of hate so many of these virtue signaling “humanitarians” are, the video is telling in other ways.
For a start, it reveals also their hypocrisy; Katrina Ann Smith’s shirt says “Aroha mai, aroha atu,” a Māori phrase that translates to “Give love and you will get love back.” You cannot make this stuff up.
But the words of the Israeli victim towards the end are also telling, when he speaks about it being incumbent on immigrants to Australia (like him) to respect the culture:

This is the polar opposite of so many immigrants from Gaza, Lebanon, and other Muslim and Arab parts of the world, where they burn the Australian flag and are helping turn Australia into an antisemitic hellhole.
But back to Katrina Ann Smith. Her Juniper Salon appears in Your Ultimate Guide To Melbourne’s Best Curly Hair Hairdressers For 2025. That needs to change. And her bigotry needs to be reflected in Juniper’s Google reviews.
She can keep her “Aroha” slogans and her fake love. Real Australians should show her what respecting the culture actually means: calling out hate, rejecting hypocrisy, and making sure her salon is remembered not for curls, but for kicking Jews out the door.
Update: Avi Yemini interviewing people at a protest outside the salon. Among them – her landlord, who reveals what a terrible tenant she has been and how he is kicking her out.
