The following photo was taken outside the Bayside City Council meeting tonight in Melbourne tonight. Inside, a Brighton councillor proposed a motion to adopt the IHRA working definition of antisemitism. All councillors spoke to pass the motion, and this specimen was outside to “as-a-Jew” their opposition to it.
It turns out this “as-a-Jew” is actually “not-a-Jew.”
The face might be obscured, but it is this woman:
Veronica Sherman, who I exposed a few months ago as being a Christian whose parents moved to Israel to preach the Gospel and convert Jews to Christianity. In fact, she posted her own photo at the protest:
What’s more, she is calling herself an Israeli Jew, despite living in Australia, burning her Israeli passport, and previously identifying herself as an Australian Jew:
It seems Veronica Sherman will identify as whatever the hell she wants if it means demonizing the world’s only Jewish state.
She reminds me of Seinfeld character Dr. Tim Whatley, who Jerry suspected of converting to Judaism just for the jokes:
Like Dr. Tim Whatley, she’s adopted an identity for the punchline, only this one isn’t funny; it’s a tired scam meant to undercut real Jewish voices.
