There has been a lot of doom gloom lately (ok, not just lately), so it is always good to share some good news.
This particular good news involves evil (in the form of Clementine Ford) being struck a blow.
Firebrand feminist Clementine Ford’s social media accounts have been disabled, a day after she posted about climate activist Greta Thunberg being detained by the Israeli navy.
Ford has also recently mocked the murdered American conservative political figure Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika in the wake of his assassination on September 11 (Australian time) and been a vocal supporter of Palestine.
On Friday afternoon Ford’s Instagram account was showing the message ‘Sorry, this page isn’t available’, while her Facebook page said: ‘This content isn’t available at the moment.’
Ford most recently posted about Thunberg and other protesters taking part in the Global Sumud Flotilla being detained in the early hours of Thursday while they attempted to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza.
She also made fun of Erika Kirk forgiving the man accused of killing her husband when the widow spoke at a memorial service in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Ms Kirk had said of 22-year-old university dropout Tyler Robinson: ‘That man, that young man. I forgive him.’
Ford filmed a video captioned ‘Erika Kirk addressing the Nazi rally’ in which she pretended to weep and said in a trembling voice: ‘That young man… I forgive him.’
She then opened one eye and looked from side to side. The video remained uploaded on TikTok.
Clementine Ford is total POS.

Do you agree or disagree? pic.twitter.com/nRhU5jWFlEThe writer and broadcaster sparked outrage last month with a furious Instagram rant within hours of Trump booster Kirk being killed at a rally at Utah Valley University.
Ford did not condemn Kirk’s shooting and claimed ‘almost every freedom you have has been won through political violence’.
‘Charlie Kirk was a piece of s*** who worshipped at the altar of political violence, and I will waste no tears nor time on lamenting his demise,’ she said.
The comment was part of a caption for a screenshot of an article headline by feminist news and opinion site Jezebel.
‘We paid some Etsy witches to curse Charlie Kirk,’ the headline read, which was published two days before the pundit’s death.
The above Daily Mail article is actually misleading, since it implies Clementine Ford’s post about goblin Greta Thunberg may have been a cause of her account deactivation. I call BS. In Ford’s own words:
Permanent deactivation of my accounts has been on the cards for a while, and it was only a matter of time before it happened. I could have avoided it if I’d chosen to conform to the “community standards” imposed by Meta, but that would have meant not only capitulating to Zionists but also (of late) the special brand of lunatic worshipping at the alter of Charlie “A few gun deaths a year are worth it” Kirk.
The screenshot Clementine Ford includes in her post reveals more than her claim though:

No doubt, the Kirk post contributed, but her constantly bullying and harrassment were the main reasons. As for her antisemitism and terror support, I doubt it, since that still runs rampant on the platform without consequence.
I must say, though, that I am surprised the Daily Mail were not more accurate with this and almost lent credence to her claim that she was booted because she is critical of “Zionists.” Especially considering what she wrote to the Daily Mail before the story came out:

Be that as it may, Clementine Ford does not seem upset her accounts were suspended.
But also…these platforms aren’t real, you know? That little number that appears under “followers” genuinely means nothing. It doesn’t make you smarter, braver or better than other people. It absolutely doesn’t make you happier.

I fed on the crumbs of this bullshit for years, and feared that if I bit its hand or walked away altogether then I would become nothing.
I’ve been realising lately how wrong that is. An online platform doesn’t create me, and it sure as fucking shit doesn’t determine my value in the world.
I create me. I am the fucking platform.
Correct Clementine, the numbers under your follower count don’t define you. But your choices do. And when those choices turn cruelty into content, consequences stop being censorship and start being accountability.
You actually became nothing when you became a proponent of evil. And I suspect the platform did help create this monster that you have become.
