Earlier this week, I posted how Israel-hating airhead Abbie Chatfield was being sued for defamation by her one-time ‘male best friend,’ for falsely suggesting he supported genocide and the slaughter of children to her hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers.
I am happy to report that she lost and will now need to pony up more than $100,000.
Abbie Chatfield has admitted she defamed her onetime ‘best male friend’ after accusing him of supporting genocide and the slaughter of children.
The social media influencer will be forced to pay law student and former Virgin Australia guest services officer Heath Kelley $79,000 after she consented to a Federal Court judgment against her.
The court has also ordered Chatfield pay Mr Kelley’s legal costs, which amount to an estimated $30,000, leaving her facing a total bill of more than $100,000.

Chatfield is a truly vile specimen. Besides the lies about her former friend (and Israel), she completely ignored his comment that he sent the video to her “because its incredible news that [Greens leader Adam Bandt] lost his seat. And I’m going to sleep better at night knowing the Jewish population of Melbourne will feel safer with him gone.”
That is a really noble stand, in addition to standing with Israel. Yet Abbie Chatfield could not give a hoot about Australia’s Jewish population, let alone Israel’s. What’s more, she seems to mock her former friend for having visited Israel only twice, which I am willing to bet is twice more than her.
Meanwhile, what’s important is that Abbie is now short of dollars in addition to being short of sense.
