The detestable Nasser Mashni was recently on a podcast called Consortium News, in which they bitched and moaned about Australia’s new hate crimes bill in the wake of the Bondi massacre.
Once again, Nasser Mashni produced a gaslighting master class.
As you will see in the below clip I compiled from the entire 1 hour+ yawnfest, Mashni claimed to care about antisemitism and how Jews are conflated with Zionists and Israel – while disseminating the very same antisemitic tropes he claims to oppose.

Portraying Jews as a privileged class who receive special treatment due to their power? Check.
Speaking about “Jewish supremacists” (a term popularized by former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke)? Check.
Mentioning the (Jewish) “Old Testament” in a negative way? Check.
Telling the story of a businessman who engaged in greedy practices, with an unnecessary mention of him being a “Zionist” (code for Jew)? Check.
Mentioning in the same story the (Jewish) former Australian Treasurer in a negative light? Check.
Besides these antisemitic moments, note how Mashni had the chutzpah to complain how palestinians have not been given the opportunity to mourn Bondi and could very well have been killed there – despite the fact it was a Chanukah event, and the victims were targeted because they were Jews. What’s more, he mentions that ISIS has killed more palestinians than Jews. And naturally he again bashes Australia, the country in which he has been afforded all freedoms.
Mashni wants the moral credit for opposing antisemitism while indulging in it at every turn. He’s dressing up age-old Jew-hatred in the language of “human rights,” “context,” and faux concern. He doesn’t challenge antisemitic narratives; he repackages them, sanitizes them, and then has the gall to accuse others of bad faith.
