As I mentioned yesterday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog is visiting Australia in solidarity with the Jewish community, in the wake of the Bondi massacre.
The haters decided they would do everything in their power to try and prevent the visit – including publishing a fraudulent list of Jews against it – but that didn’t work.
But there was always plan B – to disrupt the visit as much as possible.
Violence, antisemitism, and terror support
In Sydney, protesters clashed with police, as they tried to push past barricades and march through the city to State Parliament, which was prohibited under current protest restrictions in the wake of Bondi. 27 people were arrested, including 10 for assaulting police, and officers deployed pepper spray. According to the Assistant Commissioner, officers were “jostled, threatened and assaulted” when police intervened to disperse the crowd when speakers invited those in attendance to march. 10 officers were injured in “melees” and “rolling fights.”
After 2 years of bending the knee to Islamic terror supporters, this was a job well done by NSW Police.

Well done to @ChrisMinnsMP for standing firm, giving concise justifications and explanations …and for standing by NSW Police who had a very difficult job to do.

A group of Muslim protesters decided to “pray” publicly after NSW Police gave two legal orders to clear Sydney Town Hall Square, resulting in police physically moving them.

Muslims on a protest rally, suddenly decide to start praying, and for the first time ever in any Western Society – the police actually decide to stop them

It was a microcosm of the Israeli-Arab conflict in which the Arab side orchestrates provocations for the camera to paint the IDF in a bad light.
Naturally, the protests contained antisemitism, with some comparing Isaac Herzog to Hitler, in contravention of the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism:

Note also the sign calling him a terrorist. This, coming from the same people flying Hizbullah-like flags:
They’re flying Hezbollah-esque flags in Australian pro-Pal protests. The police swooped in aggressively and arrested the flag bearer and all the useful idiots screeched “shame”. Ridiculous people. pic.twitter.com/KwilDNWTYO

One of those inciting violence was former Australian of the Year Grace Tame, who lead chants of “globalise the intifada.” I should also point out that Tame is an advocate for survivors of sexual assault (just not Israeli ones apparently):
As NSW Premier Chris Minns said:
“In the circumstances where six weeks ago we lost 15 members of the Jewish community to a hate crime, a violent terrorist uprising, that’s what the consequences of ‘globalise the intifada’ mean, a violent uprising in Sydney’s streets.
“I can only imagine what those families thought when they saw someone screaming it from the steps of Town Hall, the pain they would have gone through.”
Speaking of which, less than a kilometre away from the protest, police had to request the 4,000 strong crowd at the “Evening of Light and Solidarity” event for Mr Herzog to stay inside the building while protesters dispersed at Town Hall:
Wow.

Members of the Jewish community who came to listen to President Herzog were LOCKED DOWN and could only leave under police protection after a so-called ‘pro-Palestinian’ protest SPIRALED OUT OF CONTROL in Sydney.

A silver lining
Despite the distressing scenes, there is a silver lining out of all of this. More and more people have been exposed to the nastiness of this movement, and it is clear we are slowly seeing a shift in public sentiment. For instance, the Australian media have been overwhelmingly against the protesters and their disgraceful behavior, as the following examples show:
"Australians are fed up!"

The media coverage is not confined to the protests themselves, with the JCA’s fraudulent petition list – which I was one of the first to expose – making the global news:

As I keep advocating, best to shine a light on these people and their evil behavior instead of ignoring them and silencing them. Their behavior is a gift for us, and we should use it in order to show the reasonable, silent majority what they are truly about.
For too long, these tactics went unchallenged, but the tide is turning because the truth is becoming impossible to ignore. Our job now is to keep that momentum going. Don’t look away from the ugliness – document it, share it, and expose it.
