Last week, actor Eric Dane –“McSteamy” in Grey’s Anatomy – passed away from ALS at the age of 53. Following his death, predominantly Jewish websites shared that the actor was Jewish, something that was not commonly known beforehand.
Now, his Grey’s Anatomy co-star Patrick Dempsey – who starred as “McDreamy” – has shared on social media a Jewish-themed post of sorts.
Actor @PatrickDempsey is not one of the good guys. Here he is sharing a video of a couple of Jews saying Zionism is foreign to Judaism. In truth, they represent a fringe minority. Over 90% of Jews are Zionists because Zionism is integral to Judaism.

Stick to acting, McDouchey! pic.twitter.com/e45CjZFiCV
That’s right. Another virtue-signaling actor who seems determined to showcase his ignorance.
Perhaps there is a chance of a Grey’s Anatomy doctor coming to Gaza after all.

For the record, the two Jewish men in the video represent a fringe minority of Jews in the world. Over 90% – probably closer to 95%, actually – of Jews are Zionists, because Zionism is integral to Judaism. Zionism isn’t some political hobby Jews picked up in 1948. It’s the modern expression of a 3,000-year-old national identity.
It seems some celebrities feel obligated to weigh in on complex geopolitical issues they clearly haven’t taken the time to study. When you have a massive platform, there is a responsibility to be informed before you speak – or at the very least, to realize when you are completely out of your depth.
This is one McDouchey should sit out.
