Over a week ago, I posted about the “Netanyahu is dead” hoax all over social media.
I think it is safe to say the fake news has finally been put to rest with this from Fox News reporter Trey Yingst:
NEW: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls on other countries to join the war against Iran, says some are moving in that direction.
— Trey Yingst (@TreyYingst) March 22, 2026
"It's time to see the leaders of the rest of the countries join up," he told Fox News in an exclusive interview. pic.twitter.com/Vhq7kru4lz
As I wrote in my earlier post, the fake news seems to have originated from Iranian state-aligned media and commentators in pro-Iran channels and Telegram/X networks. According to India’s NDTV, it started with a post by “American journalist Ethan Levins”:

Of course, they are wrong – my post even preceded this Ethan Levins tweet. But it did put him on my radar… again.
You see, I first came across his name after he uploaded a video revealing the coordinates of Israeli military and nuclear facility locations:

Despite his Jewish-sounding name, he is not Jewish. He calls himself an “American Christian.”
Despite his X profile pic

he is no American patriot.
He is a traitor.
Besides revealing the coordinates of sensitive military locations in Israel and thus trying to undermine the US-Israeli campaign against Iran, his entire X feed shouts out “paid propaganda agent of Iran.”

It goes without saying, he is no journalist. He is a disinformation agent trying to undermine the US and Israel.
I mean, what journalist would post as fact that PM Netanyahu died on March 8th?
Only to post a few days later that he might still be alive but “hiding underground like a rat” (without an apology or retraction for the previous fake news)?

And now give the coordinates of where he believes PM Netanyahu is staying – which is not underground after all:

I hope the US authorities are looking at Ethan Levins very closely.
Over to you, President Trump.
