Comedian Elon Gold – whom I am proud to call my friend – has never been afraid to shy away from pointing out the absurdity of our enemies and their libels against the Jewish state.
So when I saw this clip of him at the Tribeca Film Festival, it was patently clear what he was doing:
HILARIOUS: Lizzy Savetsky and Elon Gold make fun of insane Palestinian dog rape fantasies.

This is absolutely the correct response to their insane lies.
Mock them relentlessly for lying. Mock people relentlessly for being dumb enough to believe it.

Elon was shining a light on the absurdity of the insane dog rape libel. Yet the haters latched on to this soundbyte like a, ehh, dog with a bone, claiming that he and Lizzy Savetsky were making fun of rape:

This is to be expected; the haters’ modus operandi is to lie and gaslight about the Jews and the Jewish state after all. But it is disappointing that Tribeca also took the bait.

And the worst joke of all? This:

That’s the New York Times – the very outlet that helped legitimize the dog rape libel and timed it to obfuscate a report about Hamas’ sexual violence on October 7.
If anyone has turned rape into a punchline, it is them.
Hey @nytimes, the pair weren’t joking about rape – they were mocking a bizarre, unverified "dog rape" story that your outlet helped legitimize. Worse, you ran that piece right before a major report detailing Hamas’ systematic sexual violence on Oct 7.

The real mockery of rape… pic.twitter.com/89aBBC0mWN
So Elon Gold gets hauled over the coals for lampooning a blood libel, while the New York Times, which actively helped resurrect and legitimize that same libel, faces zero consequences. No wonder the haters keep lying.
And think about the sheer malice required to turn a joke exposing a blood libel into a weapon against the very people being targeted by it.
Elon, please keep speaking truth to the absurd. When the world is this backward, comedy isn’t just entertainment; it’s a necessity.
