Flotilla Participant Juliet Lamont Still Cannot Make Up Her Mind

Just days after my previous post about the latest inconsistencies of flotilla participant Juliet Lamont‘s testimonies, and I have found yet more.

Thanks to anti-Israel website Michael West Media for publishing more lies, which I can pick apart. (I am linking to the archived version just in case they remove or change it).

The first. An Australian citizen, face down on the deck of an Israeli naval vessel in international waters, cable tied and shackled, soldiers standing on her legs, a rifle butt smashing into her head each time she turns her face away…

This is the first time I have seen her claim she was smashed in the head with a rifle butt. In a previous version, she claimed to have been punched in the head.

Then a darkened shipping container. Five soldiers. Raped from behind, bent double in a chokehold, while one soldier rips fistfuls of hair from her scalp. She fixed her mind on his boots and pushed everything behind her far away, until it was happening to a woman she could watch from somewhere else.

It was the only way to live through it.

Again, this is the first mention of a soldier ripping fistfuls of hair from her scalp, or fixing her mind on his boots.

Weeks later, at a forensic examination in Tweed Valley Hospital, it was the nurses’ latex gloves that broke her. She had seen them before. Her rapists wore them. No DNA. No evidence of their crimes. The men who broke her coccyx gloved up before they touched her, so that this exact examination would come up empty.

Remember how she claimed it was so dark and she was traumatized, she could not even tell what the alleged rapist inserted into her? But now all of a sudden she can tell that he was wearing gloves.

And how convenient that there is “no evidence of their crimes.” Surely if her coccyx was broken, this would come up in a medical examination – not to mention evidence of having been violently vaginally raped or hit in the face with a rifle butt.

And remember how she claimed her daughter told her she was only hit (and in another version also ‘syringed’), but not sexually assaulted? Looks like she changed her mind.

On the night of 20 May, Lamont’s daughter Isla, a 25-year-old Australian youth worker, was dragged shackled from her Naqab prison cell to a room of armed soldiers. Her own published words: “They pulled down my pants to my ankles, where the shackles were, and my underpants, and took off my top, unclipped my bra. That’s when there were, like, four soldiers in there with a gun to my head,

With each new retelling, fresh details materialize out of nowhere: a punch becomes a rifle butt, an unidentified assault suddenly includes latex gloves, a vague account acquires vivid details about boots and hair-pulling, and her daughter’s alleged ordeal grows more graphic with every version.

Let’s be real. If even a fraction of these allegations were true, there would be consistent accounts and corroborating evidence.

The real question is no longer what allegedly happened to Julie Lamont, but why anyone believes her.
