Roger Waters Reworks ‘Comfortably Numb’ Into Anti-Israel Propaganda

Antisemite Roger Waters recently released a new version of Pink Floyd’s classic Comfortably Numb with a palestinian Arab singer called Mona Miari. It is reportedly to raise money for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), a non-profit organisation that “arranges free medical care for injured and ill children in Palestine.”

According to NGO Monitor, PCRF has worked with local organizations in Gaza that include individuals with Hamas ties, and partners with organizations that themselves have faced allegations of Hamas links. Not that any of this would bother Roger Waters in the slightest.

I should also point out that David Gilmour – who was listed as “lyricist, associated performer and composer” on the 1979 original version of the song – was removed from the credits of the remake.

Meanwhile, Roger Waters posted on X this extract from the song:

I prefer my version.

Some classics should be left alone. Especially by someone who has become so comfortably numb to terrorism, antisemitism, and reality.
