As you almost certainly already know, yesterday we saw a big miracle in the sky.
Flydubai Flight FZ1073 was flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv when, according to Israeli officials, the copilot stabbed the captain and apparently attempted to crash the plane. The aircraft plunged thousands of feet before passengers and crew intervened, subdued the copilot, and helped bring the situation under control. The plane eventually landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Almost everyone on board was Israeli. Which, as it turned out, was a rather important detail.
Naturally, when I heard what happened, I had the same reaction any normal person would: This needs a song.
