Just my regular reminder that those working towards the destruction of Israel, aka the ‘Free Palestine’ crowd, also want the destruction of the Western and democratic countries in which they live.
Example # 2,654: Sydney academic Randa Abdel-Fattah, who recently showed the ‘love’ for the country in which she lives.

Sydney academic Randa Abdel-Fattah labelled Australians “nutcases” and told a London audience that the country is full of “white supremacy institutions”.
Speaking at an event to promote her pro-Palestinian book titled “Discipline” on the weekend, she told dozens of attendees in central London, “there is no sense of safety in white supremacist institutions”.
“University spaces, the space that I navigate, just the sheer hypocrisy and cowardice amongst people who have just climbed the ladder on the back of our communities, researching us, exploiting us, treating us as objects of knowledge,” she said.
“Rising the hierarchy and ladders of management and they won’t even sign a letter of solidarity and some of them go further and try to attempt to police our voices and political identities”.
—
Dr Abdel-Fattah, who has an Egyptian father and Palestinian mother, is a future fellow in the Department of Sociology at Macquarie University.
She was suspended for 10-months from the institution over comments she made about Israel which was lifted at the end of last year.
The Sydney-based academic said as a mother-of-four – two of whom were with her at the weekend’s event: “I’m sure they are sick of me”.
“Every time we walk through the streets I’m like, ‘that building was probably funded by slavery, you can’t go into the shop because we are boycotting it’.
“This is how we live, it’s not a chore, it’s a way of living”.
Note the delusional thinking. In her mind, her employer (a university) comprises of people “who have just climbed the ladder on the back” of her community” because they are researching her people. Or something. Funny, I would have thought them employing her was the exact opposite of exploitation – especially given she is employed as a Future Fellow in their Department of Sociology. She is the one researching her own people and getting paid to do so!
The sheer hypocrisy is breathtaking. Here is a tenured academic drawing a comfortable salary from an Australian institution, enjoying every right and privilege of a Western democracy, while using her platform to slander the very taxpayers and university that fund her existence. Randa Abdel-Fattah isn’t a victim of “white supremacist institutions” – she is a prime example of their endless, unearned tolerance. If Australia is truly as terrible, unsafe, and irredeemable as she claims, no one is forcing her to stay.
Her hatred towards her country and fellow countrymen extends to calling them “nutcases” for having the temerity to object to her presence at a writers festival right after the Bondi Beach massacre.
She called Australians “nutcases” after organisers “disinvited” her to the Adelaide Writers Festival earlier this year because including her would be “culturally insensitive” following the Bondi Beach massacre.
“That shows the impunity of the anti-Palestinian racism,” she said.
As I opined at the time, the festival’s decision probably had nothing to do with her being a palestinian Arab, and everything to do with being an evil witch who is a potential danger to Jews in particular:
Rather, it might have to do with helping publicise a leaked list of Jews on a WhatsApp website and publishing calls to persecute Jews, stating that Jews have “no claim or right to cultural safety,” and it is a “duty […] to ensure that every space Zionists enter is culturally unsafe for them.”
And/or her refusal to condemn an Islamic terrorist who murdered a Melbourne cafe owner in 2018, writing “I, an Australian Muslim, refuse to condemn the violence that took place on Bourke Street. To ask me to condemn is to strip me of my basic humanity.”
And/or her clapping along as a boy of primary school age chanted “intifada, intifada.”
And/or her changing her profile picture to a picture of a palestinian Arab paratrooper the day after the October 7 attacks.
And/or her saying “I don’t see them (Hamas) as a terrorist organisation.”
And/or her calling for an “end of Israel” and the “abolishment of the death cult of Zionism.”
Meanwhile, color me unsurprised:
Also at the event was the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network president Nassar Mashni.
Turds of a feather.
