A video of two tourists in Phuket, Thailand being sprung stealing products from a 7-Eleven has gone viral, and the antisemites and Israel-haters have wasted no opportunity to claim the perpetrators are Israeli.

To be clear, as of the time of this post, there is absolutely no proof the tourists were Israeli. Thai outlets describe them only as foreign tourists. French-language news outlet ZoneSamui identified them as a Spanish couple, while others think they might be Argentinian or even Australian (perhaps because the man is wearing a shirt from Deus Ex Machina, an Australian lifestyle and custom motorcycle brand).
Yet the haters are claiming definitely they were Israeli because… well, let’s face it. It is because they hate Jews, plain and simple. Some are even dumb enough to basically admit it:

Even if it turns out they are Israeli, it changes nothing for those making the accusation now, with no proof, to smear an entire people as thieves.
No passport, no proof, no problem. Evidence is optional when the goal is blaming the Jews. Funny how that works.
