Following the passing of the late great actor Patrick Stewart, I posted the following video – from his press conference in Israel in 2012 – to X and other social media platforms:
In addition to boldly going where no man has gone before, @SirPatStew boldly went to Israel – and loved it.

We’ll miss you too, Sir Patrick. 🫡 pic.twitter.com/2VdprMRLHK
The video has gone viral, with 1.7 million views on X alone as of the time of this post.
Thanks in part to a surprising retweet by Israel-hating as-a-Jew Katie Halper, who has over 200,000 followers:

It seems Katie was so eager to amplify what she assumed was an anti-Israel narrative from the caption that she didn’t bother spending less than two minutes watching Sir Patrick Stewart say wonderful things about our country.
Elsewhere, Katie Halper retweeted the below tribute to Patrick Stewart, which indicates to me she would not be attacking him for saying nice things about Israel like he did in the video I posted:

Who knew that getting an Israel-hater to promote positive content about Israel could be as simple as counting on them not to watch it first?
