A few weeks ago, I pointed out the glaring inconsistencies in the accounts of flotilla participant Juliet Lamont. Here’s a reminder:

She has since been interviewed some more times and – shock, horror – her story keeps changing:

Which is it?
▪️She could easily ID her rapist as the largest man or she couldn't discern anything, even what was supposedly inserted inside her?

Among the inconsistencies here:
- In one account she goes into explicit detail regarding the alleged rape, and claims to not be sure as to what was inserted inside her due partly to not being able to see. Yet in the other account she is able to easily ID her alleged rapist as the largest man
- In one account, one of the men says “Welcome to Israel. Are you enjoying this now?”, yet in the other, his words are “Welcome to Israel, Juliet. You are really going to enjoy this”, uttered at the very beginning
- In one account, her daughter was just beaten up. In the other, she was hit and ‘syringed’
- In one account, she describes how her daughter escaped being raped, while in the other account this does not warrant a mention
When viewed with the inconsistencies of her other accounts, and her lack of visible injuries, there is little doubt she is making things up as she goes along. And she really isn’t very good at it. But we knew that even before this flotilla.
And if she was telling the truth (which she isn’t), that would make her either the dumbest person alive or the worst mother alive.
It does not make sense that anyone who was sexually assaulted (and claims to also be a survivor of child sexual abuse), and felt they could even die, would deliberately put themself in that position again. Let alone bring along her daughters.
Yet Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong believes her and the other lying participants. Wong owes the public – and the targets of these baseless allegations – an explanation as to why she is treating a transparently fabricated, contradictory narrative as gospel.
