There are three thing certain in life.
Death.
Taxes.
Roger Waters claiming he isn’t antisemitic while being antisemitic.
And the old codger has done it again, this time on some podcast which unironically claims to “set the record straight… dismiss propaganda and remain truth-centered.”
The title of the podcast is “This is our LAST chance to get answers about 9/11” Roger Waters on the Twin Tower demolition, which should already sound the alarm bells – not just about who Waters is going to blame for all that is wrong in the world, but also this outfit’s so-called commitment to the “truth.”
I assume you won’t have the stomach to listen to all 55 minutes of this tripe, so I have distilled the pertinent, antisemitic parts:
The vile @rogerwaters can claim he is not antisemitic all he likes, but he has again proven he is antisemitic to his rotten core.

Suggesting the Jewish state was behind 9-11 is a favorite of antisemites. As is the “usury libel,” an antisemitic trope that portrays Jews as uniquely greedy moneylenders who exploit society through lending money at interest (“usury”), and often goes further by claiming that Jews secretly control banks, governments, or wars through finance. Which is what Roger Waters does when mentioning the”Rothchilds.” Waters knows this – which is why he feels the need to again deny his antisemitism.
This would be bad enough, but he doesn’t stop there with the Jew hatred. He also delegitimizes the entire Jewish state as a failed experiment, states that Israeli children are brought up to act like Nazis who genocide others, and associates another Jew, Jared Kushner, with the “ruling class” and greed. What’s more, he states as fact that Israel beat and raped flotilla passengers, despite the absence of evidence showing this. Compare to how he treated Hamas’ broadcasted and provable atrocities with skepticism.
Waters has spent years insisting he isn’t antisemitic. Yet time and again, he reaches for the same old conspiracies: Jews behind 9/11, the Rothschilds pulling the strings, Israelis as Nazis, and fabricated accusations against the Jewish state.
At this point in time, he doesn’t merely flirt with these tropes. He takes them out for dinner, gets them drunk (along with himself), and then does to them what he is trying to do the Jewish state.
