Worst Shofar Blow Ever? Jewish Israel-Hater Embarrasses Himself

The following video of a Jewish Israel-hater, aka “as-a-Jew,” trying unsuccessfully to blow the shofar during the Run For Palestine in Edmonton last Saturday morning is doing the rounds.

Because – well, see for yourselves:

It has been described as the worst shofar blowing ever and – to be honest – it is hard to argue.

And if the fact the “as-a-Jew” could not even blow it in half-decent fashion was not enough to convince you of its performative nature, what if I told you he did it on Saturday morning – the Jewish Shabbat – where Jews were busy praying on Rosh Hashana, one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar? But this pious soul preferred to spend his time bashing the Jewish state by co-opting a Jewish ritual.

What’s more, despite it being Rosh Hashana, blowing the Shofar is restricted if it falls on Shabbat (Friday evening to Saturday evening) – as it did this year. So the “as-a-Jew” isn’t just skipping synagogue, he is also breaking Shabbat.

Yeah, he might be trying to blow but he truly sucks.

And here’s the thing. This is a feature, not a bug, of these “as-a-Jews.” Judaism seems to emerge primarily when it can be weaponized against the Jewish state.

But watching this virtuoso performance reminded me of another “as-a-Jew” spectacular I covered more than six years ago.

Which means there is only one question left to ask:

Which “as-a-Jew” wore it better stunk it up better?

You decide.

Who stunk it up better?
