(IDS) Israel Derangement Syndrome is a very real thing.
Example 27,394: Briahna Joy Gray, whose main claim to fame is being fired from The Hill after rolling her eyes in disrespect when the sister of a hostage asked her to believe Israeli women.
Now how is there a weird Israel drop in this too? https://t.co/QUEXMJN0cj

Israel is mentioned at 2:10 in the clip when Mel Gibson’s character asks the woman how her boyfriend in Israel is.
Miss Eyeballs seems to be insinuating that Israel not being given being the Lord Voldemort and actually being mentioned in a movie is evidence of Jews trying to subliminally implant Israel in to the minds of movie goers. Or something.
Never mind that the movie also mentions Tahiti, Sweden and Cuba. Gray heard “Israel” once in a 26-year-old romantic comedy and apparently decided she had stumbled upon a Zionist psyop.
But let’s take things further. In the clip, we get to see a number of Jews: Lisa Edelstein, Mark Feuerstein, and Bette Midler. Lisa and Mark are proud Zionists. Bette, not so much. But Jew!
What’s more, they stuck Mel Gibson – not exactly the Jewish people’s best friend in the world – and surrounded him with these Jews. Clearly a conspiracy to make him pay for his antisemitic outburst (which occurred 6 years after this movie was released).
In short: if you look hard enough through the lens of a bizarre obsession, a harmless piece of early 2000s movie dialogue turns into a masterclass in global puppet-mastery.
If anything deserves some serious eyeball rolling, it is this.
