Former Argentinean soccer player turned Goodyear Blimp, Diego Maradona, continues to be a poster boy for the ill effects of frequent drug use.

fat-maradona.jpgFormer Argentinean soccer player Diego Armando Maradona expressed his desire on Monday to visit Iran and meet President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In a meeting with Iranian Charge d’Affaires to Buenos Aires Mohsen Baharavand, the former soccer player, whose infamous “Hand of God” goal knocked England out of the 1986 World Cup quarterfinal and whose life has been plagued with years of cocaine abuse, presented his autographed T-shirt to the Iranian nation.

“With all my love to Iranian people,” Maradona signed the T-shirt.

Expressing his deep affection for the people of Iran, Maradona, who was thrown out of the 1994 World Cup finals in the US after failing a drugs test, said: “I am with the people of Iran by all my heart, I support them. I say it because I feel it, because I mean it.”

The former player, who is an outspoken critic of US President George W. Bush, told Baharavand that he backs Ahmadinejad’s government.

“I have already met (Cuban President) Fidel (Castro), and (Venezuelan President Hugo) Chavez, now I need to meet your president, Ahmadinejad,” said Maradona.

Sounds to me like “Hand of God” is about to shake Hand of Satan. The blimp hearts the chimp. The crackhead likes the crackpot.

But let Iran have Maradona. After all, we have Madonna.

polarization. it seems to me if you have some level of fame and you say you don’t like Bush(43), you automatically get invites and photo ops with Chavez and Mahmoud. Apparently the logic must be that since you hate Bush, these two hate him too, and that must mean these two are good leaders. Although I dare any of these opportunist to tell me a single thing about any of the three people. Why is it they hate Dubya for things they expect him to do(cutting back on freedoms and wars), but look at Chavez’s society and the Iranian police state! Because it’s none of our(western) business if Venezula or Iran cuts off internet access, jails thousands, or has domestic spy blimps. They’re still not Bush(who doesn’t go that far). Bush may or may not spy on international calls, and that’s the line.

And an Argentinian or whatever this guy is, loving up the people who caused the Argentinian 9/11. Pathetic.

Makes me wish there was a zionist conspiracy. Then rich airheads wouldn’t be hogging my newswires.

And, while visiting Ammadinnerjacket, he is caught packing his nose, he’ll get the feel of an Iranian necktie. He belongs there, right along with Sean Penn, Cindy Sheehan and the rest of the planets wackos.
    Go fatboy, go.

The way all this works is very simple. Liberals do not hate tyranny, they hate the West. They love 3rd world tyranny, especially since it opposes the West and all its values of freedom and respect for human rights.
