Easing The Blockade, My A**

In case it is not already abundantly clear to you that the flotillards are not about “easing the blockade” but rather faciliating the destruction of the state of Israel.

After many attempts of sending Boats of aid to Gaza, solidarity with Palestinians seemed to grow to the peak.  A controversial plan has been set by 9 European groups, 1 in Canada and 2 in the US to send Passenger boats boarded by huge number of Palestinian Refugees to their homes in occupied Palestine known as “Israel”

Well-informed sources told the Palestine Telegraph that a fund has been allocated for the purpose of the activity. The sources refused to release their identities in order not to damage the plans. They pledge that they will go to public soon and introduce themselves and their ideas. The groups are already active in their positions.

Activists will name the Flotilla as, “Ship your luggage, Return to Palestine”.

About the mechanism of the event, organizers refused to release extra information as it will only benefit Israel to bring the plans down. The organizers said that they are considering hiring a private passenger jet which accommodates scores of Palestinian Refugees.

The boats will carry Palestinian Refugees of dual citizenships from Europe, US and Middle East. Boats or airplanes will carry a combination of those refugees with European activists, MPs, journalists and activists.

The unique aim of the plan is the direction. The ultimate direction is not Gaza and not breaking the siege as in every time. However, it will be Israeli sea ports of Haifa and Ashkelon.

Activist, A. D added that the refugees will implement the Right of Return as stated through International law.

“We are the soul of the International community. We indeed the International community not the governments which support Israel. We will try to implement resolution 194 which has to do with the Right of Return. We are not doing any illegal work. We will use all legal and lawful methods in doing so. The whole world is to recognise Palestine in September. Our step will be a complementary tool for that declaration.” Said A.D

According to organizers the local committees has been initiated in Lebanon and Syria. The number of Refugee passengers is estimated of 20 thousands distributed in passenger boats.

Palestine Telegraph asked A.D about the country which will allow them to sail after what happened in Flotilla 2. No more details were given but it will be from 2 countries on the Mediterranean Sea and maybe the red sea as the governments there have agreed.

Keep this in mind every time you hear any of these “activists” speaking about “ending the siege” or “ending the occupation.” Even the establishment of a palestinian state living side-by-side with Israel will not make them happy, since it contains an unreasonable demand.

That Israel exist.

  1. barghoutti has made it abundantly clear that even were israel to affect a full removal of all neighborhoods from the west bank, the bds movement would not cease, as he and the rest of the jew haters believe that all of israel is occupied territory

    this madness must end

im sorry, but it is time to engage the kahane plan and the world be damned

and if the world says boo…one simply must bring up what the world did to the ethnic germans post ww2

enemies are not expected to reside together…it is suicide

  2. What is happening to the Israel I love and support? Prominent rabbis permitting the ethical murder of gentiles, including children. Invoking the name of a murderous racist like Kahane as the template for a just society. These are troubling Israel's friends around the world. Isn't it obvious that the religious parties as part of the ruling coalition are leading Israel down a path to isolation and unending conflict? What are Israelis thinking by tolerating such a government?

    1. Um, what are you referring to? And which parties do these Rabbis refer to? And are they referring to anything other than normal wartime activities conducted by any Western power, which includes activities which one knows will kill women and children, albeit unintentionally?

I believe there is a term for attacking all religious Jews based on the views of certain ones. I believe it starts with an "a".

      1. If you are referring to a certain recent issue, it involves two rabbis that gave an approbation to a book that contains exactly two (count 'em) footnotes indicating that there is (or might be) sufficient anarchy in the territories to permit counter-terrorist actions such as those of the Irgun. As anyone in the business knows, these approbations usually mean, "this is a nice guy", and even in the instances that the book is read, they seldom mean they agree with the legal decisions.

Meanwhile, a journalist recently published basically stating that the people of the State should rise up and murder all of the settlers. Based on your logic, I assume Meretz and maybe Kadima shoudl never by allowed in the government? (This is besides all of the professors given legal protection to commit treason and stay employed.)

        1. Why wasn't the professor, who actually wrote the statement, called in? I assume you decry this double standard, and basic affront to religious freedom, equality, and civil rights.

        2. I should be as well-informed on this issue as you, but, I admit, I am not. My concern is the general drift Israel is sliding away from secular, democratic public policymakers and toward religious, theocractic forces. To point out one party in particular, I would say Shas envisions an Israel I would not recognize nor would I want to live in such a state. Tell me that my fears are completely unfounded, and maybe I'll sleep better tonight.

          1. I think if you actually look at the changes over the past few decades, you see a steady erosion of the religious status quo established (partially) at the start of the state, and the government of the state becoming more secularized. Just about everything seems to be a holding action. This is mostly due to the supreme court, not to mention outside interference. So if that makes you sleep better….

But why would you want to live in Israel? Israel was created for the survival of the Jewish people; it shouldn't be a place you would want to live in, at least permenantly. The U.S. is a completely different story, although we probably have more "gay rights" than the U.S. (unfortunately, no offense).

However, what you are reading (based on your description) is distorted and alarmist. I have put up with this sort of reporting my whole life, whether it be about my people in Israel or New York. (The Baltimore Sun is an exception when they aren't talking about Baltimore.) It's one reason I edit Wikipedia.

            1. I suppose my attitudes towards Israel might be considered a bit alarmist. After all, I'm over here and Israel is way over there and I have no first-hand perspective. I can listen to Michelle Bachmann and know that most of what she thinks and says about the state of our country is a load of horse dung. When I read Ha'aeretz, particularly columnist Bradley Burston, I become alarmed at the picture being drawn of your country's politics. And your parliamentary democracy only makes things worse by allowing numerically small political factions greater leverage in effecting public policy. If only AussieDave ran things I might sleep better at night. Then again, maybe not.

              1. bradley burston is a racist

he believes all jews are evil and all arabs are children that can only be saved by the jew who only becomes a jew when he is spewing anti israel hate
                r

              2. In connection with recent comment of yours, I think that you see Jerry Falwell under every bed.

                (Cringing at expected puns.)

                1. Lately, I've been seeing a lot of Rupert Murdoch, but that's another story. However, let me ask you this. Isn't the recent passage by the Knesset of anti-BDS legislation more evidence of Israel drifting away from its status as a liberal, western democracy?

                  1. This one? I await your retraction.

" He concluded by surprising the MKs present with the information that this bill is almost identical to the current law in the United States, with the exclusion that the punishment in America for these crimes is a five-year jail sentence. He revealed that the United Kingdom has a similar law."
                    http://knessetjeremy.com/2011/03/13/knesset-winte

                    1. In other words, Israel's law is much more mild. Personally, I would consider this fitting the U.S. constitution's definition of treason.

                      Now, how about this?

""MK Eichler (U.T.J.) said rabbis are not above the law and they aren’t even equal in the law’s eyes; rather, they are always attacked while the secular leftist academics remain above the law. MK Molla asked for specific cases. Eichler responded with an example about Professor Sternhell, who called on the Palestinians to murder settlers in Judea and Samaria and was awarded the Israel Nobel Prize. He noted there are several professors who delegitimize Israel and call for a boycott on Israeli universities. "

                    2. What exactly would you like me to retract? I was asking a question of how the boycott ban affects the status of Israel as a liberal, western democracy. How do you feel about your government fining a fellow Israeli for participating in a BDS-style boycott? Might this law have a chilling effect on an Israeli citizen's right to freedom of expression?

                    3. How can you attack a law that is vitually a copy of a law in your own country, except in Israle there are no criminal penalties?

                    4. What law are you talking about–the Alien and Sedition Act passed (I think) during the Woodrow Wilson Administration (it was repealed or struck down by the courts some years later)? Or maybe the Bush-imposed Patriot Act? I'm against all laws which impose severe retrictions to a citizen's right to freedom of expression whether its in America or Israel. This is one of the values that sets Israel apart from its neighbors.

                    5. Y'know, if you'd read the orginal post it would have saved a round. I assume they are referring to American anti-boycott legislation; dunno whether it is against America or Israel. But if you are worried that we are becoming too much like the U.S., I suggest you deal with your own country first.

                    6. Alien and Sedition acts were passed by the Federalists in response to the rabid Democratic press; I'm sure they were repealed by Jefferson or his succesors. (No, I didn't google.)

So you have no problem with someone organizing a boycott of business owner by homosexuals, for example? There were a lot of such boycotts against Jews in Poland between the wars; probably a lot of Jews starved to death as a result. One reason for people coming here.

I will say that in the case of a citizen calling for foreign citizens to boycott their own country during wartime fits the strict U.S. constitutional definition of treason, which still carries a death penalty uunder the latest Supreme Court decisions. Bit nore than being sued for money, as in Israel.

                    7. I thought all you Conservatives were against the power of the State to impose its will on the rights of the private individual or business. I oppose most boycotts, particularly the current BDS efforts, because they inevitably harm innocent people. But I also oppose the State punishing individuals when they decide to freely express their political views by participating in such a boycott. Civil liberties over State control of individual expression is where I come down here.

                    8. No, you're thinking of libertarians. I don't think FDR was evil for doing 100 times more than the PATRIOT act during WWII; maybe you do – although I tihnk it was wrong to imprison that German who gave himeslf in. (The others were executed.)

You are still ignoring my point. So you're bemoaning my country becoming more like the U.S. and less like Europe (assuming Europe is that suicidal, which I doubt). I hope so.

                    9. Israel nrcoming more like the good ol' USA?!!? In what way?Don't tell me they've invented kosher beef jerky.

                    10. Just trying out my "MZK" typing method. It's hard to see what you're actually typing when you get this far down into the thread. Another "fun" feature of Intense Debate (not that I'm complaining, Dave).

                    11. Actually, I can't always see what I'm typing; ID uses up a LOT of resources. But some of us have to still work for a living.

    2. Kahane is neither a murderer nor a racist. He was, however, murdered by a racist.

You and the other leftist monkeys should actually take the time to read his material like I did this summer. Start with Never Again. Its very US-centred.

      1. Look, junior. I'm not sure about you, but my ancestors lost their prehensile tails millenia ago. And I don't know what garbage you're reading, but Meier Kahane and his followers advocated murderous policies towards Arabs. Why do you think his party was made illegal in Israel? Guess I made a monkey out of you, huh?

        1. I wasn't going to comment on that aspect of your post until you got specific. Could you state a murderous policy he advocated. (I don't consider expulsion murderous, not if done properly.)

Actually, we have a lot of family connections with the Kahanes, although not too many of us agreed with him. I have my own theory as to where he went wrong.) Still, he did a lot of good things,, such as helping protect elderly Jews in New York and largely creating the Soviet Jewry movement. Unfortunately, a lot of his followers got a bit wild.

Why were they banned? Judging by who wasn't – because they were getting somewhere. Political correctness, basically.

"A Jew who has no connection to Judaism but is against intermarriage is simply a racist" – Meir Kahane

          1. This is where two well-intentioned people have their conversation go off the rails. I have a very difficult time understanding any kind of defense of Meier Kahane based on civil and secular law alone. I am not a Torah scholar (massive understatement) and therefore can't begin to understand justifications of his actions based on Torah teachings. Simply put, Kahane advocated mass expulsion and, if necessary, violent elimination of Arabs living in Judea and Samaria. His justification is found in interpretation of holy text, not civil or international law. To my mind, his policies are indefensible and the state of Israel has rightly banned the Kach Party, not out of political correctness, but out of a sense of justice.

            1. banning parties just because you disagree with their platforms…is not democratic

note, you will never hear the anti israel crowd crying over the banning of kach

              1. Well, Walt, as a defender of Kahane, I thought you would be an outlier among IsraellyCool readers, but it looks like I was wrong. To me, an Israeli defending someone like Kahane is like an American defending David Duke or James Earl Ray.

            2. I don't see much difficulty about understanding that particular point in secular terms. Standard ideas like self-preservation and treason.

P.S. I would be interested in seeing where he advocated "violent elimination". I've never heard this.

              1. P.S. He was NOT banned for advocating expulsion from the territories. That's currently acceptable. It was for advocating expulsion of Arab citizens, unless they start showing they accept the situation. At least this is my understanding.

No bait on American politics will be taken. 🙂

    3. jim, you cant read hebrew, so i will excuse your ignorance about toras hamelech…but it doesnt say what the lefties say it says, and it is not a rabbinical decree..it is a hypothesis for what can be done during times of war

and while kahane was murdered by the same terrorist group that attempted to blow up the wtc…can you name one person kahane murdered?

racist? i thought so too….until i look 20 years later and see the reality on the ground

  3. Professor Miao

So all the 'refugees' are in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, right? And they are playing the game that UNRWA allows only Palestinian 'refugees' – dual citizens?? The terms 'dual citizen' and 'refugee' are mutually exclusive. It's time for Israel to start fighting this singular treatment of Palestinians by the UN.

  4. "Prominent rabbis permitting the ethical murder of gentiles, including children". If this is in reference to Torat Hamelech, those who have actually read the book say that it gives the laws of war from a Jewish viewpoint. It appears that these laws are not that different from commonly accepted International law on the subject. In international law, in war it is legitimate to kill enemy civilians, including children, if there is a military necessity to do so. It is legitimate to destroy a factory producing goods for the enemy. Civilian deaths under those circumstances are unfortunate, but legitimate. If the enemy uses human shields, it is legitimate to kill the human shields – the ones who committed the war crime are those who forced the civilians to become shields. If civilians volunteer to shield enemy soldiers or enemy installations, by the commonly-accepted international laws of war, they lose their status as civilians when they so volunteer; killing them is not only not a war crime, it is as legitimate as killing soldiers in uniform.

Since Torat Hamelech is talking about what is permitted to a Jewish army fighting non-Jews, it uses the language of "Jew" killing "non-Jew". This is no more racist than a US army manual in which soldiers are told when "Americans" can kill "enemy civilians".

Supporters of Israel who only "love and respect it" if it would rather commit suicide than make the compromises necessary to live in the real world – compromises that such supporters allow to every other country that has ever existed – are, to my mind, not the kind of supporters that Israel needs or wants.

  5. Governor Conway

Resolution 194 was a General Assembly resolution. It has no legally binding status. And if it were to be implemented, the Jerusalem area would become an international zone under UN control.

  6. This smells like an April Fools Day joke. First, the lefties have to get beyond the "can't organize a one car funeral procession" syndrome. Hard task because it's built in. Then they have to figure out how to make the "Right of Return" successful against the "Law of War" which is what they'll get. Israel should indicate that they will declare war against any country that will allow its ports to be used for what amounts to be an invasion of Israel and promise to render those ports unusable for a long time to come. Few Med countries could absorb that punishment. It's about time Mossad dusts off the British passport making machine and goes on a leftie hunt. Keeping the bag limit low might avoid too much outrage if the COD is difficult to determine.

  7. Hey, coming to my hometown of Haifa. Maybe Jim will get his picture.

Will they meet the international Wikipedia convention (in a few weeks)? Hope to be there.
