BDS Fail Of The Day: Arabs Say “(Na)No” To Boycotting The Technion

Old and busted: Arab world saying “no” to the idea of peace with Israel.

New hotness: Arab world saying “nano.”

“Nano, nano”

An Israeli university’s online course in Arabic has drawn interest throughout the Arab world, Maariv/nrg reports.

The Technion is offering an online course on nanotechnology in Arabic with Professors Hossam Haick and Russell Berrie.

So far the course materials on the Technion’s website have been viewed by 1,243 people in Syria, 1,865 from Kuwait, 5,595 from Egypt, and over 1,000 from Saudi Arabia. More than 700 Saudi citizens have registered for the course, which will begin in March, as have more than 600 Egyptians and 400 Syrians.

According to the report, over 3,700 Israelis have registered as well.

The course is unique not only due to the fact that it is being offered in Arabic and English, but also due to a unique structure that includes an emphasis on creative projects and open-ended questions.

Technion staff expressed hope that the online course would “contribute, at least in some small part, to scientific and engineering knowledge among various populations – and maybe even bring people closer through working together on challenges.”

The Technion University recently made the Bloomberg news service’s list of the top ten undergraduate institutions in the world.

I am thinking of offering a course from Israel on BDS and how to effectively boycott Israel.

Just to really make the BDSHoles’ heads’ implode.
