Latest Palestinian Blood Libel: Invasion Of The Child Snatchers

young boy maanMa’an News reports on the supposed kidnap attempt on an 18-month–old palestinian child who happened to be the son of a terrorist.

An Israeli settler attempted to kidnap an 18-month-old Palestinian toddler in the Jabal al-Mukkabir neighborhood of East Jerusalem on Thursday, witnesses said.

The child was reportedly the son of Ghassan Abu Jamal, one of the attackers who killed five Israelis in an attack on a Jerusalem synagogue last November.

Abu Jamal’s brother said the child, Muhammad, was walking with his uncles when he wandered some five meters ahead of the group.

A female settler then exited a car and grabbed him, running with the child for some 20 meters before relatives caught up and freed the boy.

She released the boy and fled the scene in her car.

Witnesses say she shouted: “Arabs, Arabs, they want to kill me” during the incident.

Ma’an clearly expect us to believe the Israeli was either stalking the family or it was just a coincidence she happened to drive by as the terrorist’s son was walking a bit ahead of his family. Her supposed reaction is also bizarre to say the least.

Not surprisingly, there are other reports of the supposed incident. And there are discrepancies between them.

Like this one:

Israeli settlers attempted, Thursday, to kidnap a Palestinian toddler in one of the streets of Jabal al-Mokabber town, in occupied East Jerusalem.

Media sources said the settlers tried to kidnap Mohammad Ghassan Abu al-Jamal, 18 months of age, while walking with his brothers after leaving a local medical center in Jabal al-Mokabber.

The child’s uncle, Muawiya Abu al-Jamal, said Mohammad was walking approximately 8 meters ahead of his family members when a settler woman, who had her car parked nearby, stepped out of the vehicle and grabbed the child before running away.

The car was parked near Armon HaNetziv illegal settlement outpost; the settler woman stepped out of the car while another settler remained behind the wheel.

She grabbed the child and ran for approximately 20 meters, while his brothers chased her in an attempt to stop her, the Maan News Agency said.

The settler then started shouting, “Arabs, Arabs… they want to kill me,” before dropping the child and jumping into the vehicle that was waiting for her, and drove towards Armon HaNetziv.

The child is the son of Ghassan Abu al-Jamal, who was killed after he and his cousin Odai, attacked a Jewish Yeshiva in West Jerusalem, on November 18, 2014, killing four Israelis before they were both shot and killed by the Israeli Police.

And this:

Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —

Settlers attempted on Thursday to kidnap the child Mohammad the son of the Martyr Ghassan Abu Al-Jamal while he was walking with his brothers in one of the streets of the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber; note that the child is only one and a half years old.

Mouawya Abu Al-Jamal, the child’s nephew, explained that Mohammad and his two brothers were walking in the village and Mohammad went only 5 meters away from his brothers.

He added that a car was parked near the settlement of “Armon Hanatziv” and a female settler got out of the car and kidnapped the child and  was able to run 20 meters but Mohammad’s brothers were able to catch her and she started screaming “Arabs, Arabs are trying to kill me”.

Mouawya added that the settler left the child and got inside the car and immediately drove away towards the settlement; he pointed out that three settlers were inside the car (two men and one female).

So which is it? Was the boy 5 or 8 meters ahead?

Was he walking with his uncles or brothers?

Was there one additional “settler” in the car or three?

Yet another case of not being able to get their story straight.
