A number of websites are reporting that a palestinian woman has died…after giving birth to 69 children.
A Palestinian woman, believed to be one of the most fertile women in the world, has passed away.
The death of the 40-year-old woman was confirmed by her husband to Gaza Al-An news agency, according to Al Arabiya.
According to the report, the woman had given birth to 69 children.
This is not the first recorded instance of a woman having so many offspring.
A quick search on the internet throws up a Guinness World Record Page which shows a Russian woman by the name of Mrs Vassilyeva, who had also given birth to 69 children.
According to the information available on the website, the Russian woman, in 27 confinements, gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.
In an amazing coincidence, the palestinian woman – like the Russian woman – is also reported to have given birth to twins 16 times, triplets seven times and quadruplets four times.
When you think about, that is still 27 births (all of which resulted in multiple children). Assuming one birth per year – still a stretch (pun very much intended) – she would have had to have begun at the age of 13.
(In an amazing coincidence, 27 is 72 backwards. And we all know 72 can be quite a significant number in palestinian society).
So, no, this is not the world’s most fertile woman. But the palestinian territories seem to be the most fertile with fake news stories.
I’m just surprised they did not blame her death on Israel somehow.
